After a very tough and sad summer in 2007, I felt we needed to have more fun. And what could be more fun than a new dog? My friend Lotta and I first thought about buying a dog together, but decided to buy one each. We said why not double the fun? A rather wise choice since one of us is very fond of cocker boys (guess who!) and the other of cocker girls. The question was where would we get the dogs?  We love our Westerner dogs, but we wanted some new gene input. The choice was rather easy as the dogs and offspring we had seen from the German kennel vom Schloss Hellenstein we both  liked a lot. At the end of summer 2007 we got in touch with Monika Bollinger. We learnt that she also was interested in our dogs. To make a long history short, Findus son "Ior" Swed Sh Ch Westerner Timekeeper moved to her in April 2008.

In July 2008 it was at last  time to get our 8 month old german puppies home. And with them  followed their brother Vincent too!!!!)  Whoops, but it can be like that when you are have problems choosing between two dogs.  Monika suggested that I should take both, and when  Anders, my husband, agreed, well of course that is what happened. And if two is double the fun, how much fun would it be with three!!

Wilmer won BOB & BIG-4 at his debute, 8 months old. After that it was time for a break as his brother wanted to go to shows alone!  But ok, this  is not the whole truth of course. Wilmer was the later of them to  mature, both inside and outside, so he had to wait in the wings for awhile. He also had a bad experience, which we hope he will recover from, before his first outing as grown up. But we hope that he will come out and give his brother a match in the rings, in the future!

Wilmer has decided that he and I belong to each other. So much so that I don't think Frost is so "close" anymore! His favourite time of the day seems to be early mornings. I have never seen such a happy dogs when we wake up in the mornings (or when he thinks that we should wake!), and  when he has been sleeping in our bedroom the whole night. We have not been away from each other for more than a week or so... At home he is our little clown, still a puppy in many ways - I really don't think he knows his real age!
